FAQs

  • When does registration open? Registration begins on Monday, December 9 at 9:00 am. There will be a link published at this very site to register, and all clubs are filled on a first come, first served basis.
  • How long does each club last? Because we have no early release Mondays, clubs on both Mondays and Wednesdays begin at 3:00 pm immediately after dismissal and run for one hour until 4:00 pm.
  • How many weeks does the afterschool enrichment program last? It runs for 8 weeks, starting during the week of February 3, 2025 and running through the week of March 31st. However, there will be no clubs on either day during Spring Break week of March 17th.
  • If a club is available on both Monday and Wednesday, can my child attend both days? No, please only register your child for a club on one day to allow other students the opportunity to enroll. However, you may sign your child up for one club on Monday and a different club on Wednesday.
  • How does pickup work? Specific instructions about pickup will be communicated with you after enrollment. However, expect to utilize the car line or park and walk-up to the back car line gate. If your child goes to Branch Academy or YMCA for daycare, separate instructions will be discussed. It is imperative that your child has reliable transportation each week, as we will not have staff on site to wait for late pickups.
  • What if I want to switch the ASE program I purchased? Please email president@mitchellelementarypta.org if you need to switch your child PRIOR to the start of the ASE program so you may get a refund or switch to a class with an open seat.
  • Can my child participate in a club even if that club is not designated for their grade level? Because clubs are designed for specific age groups, we will only be accommodating those students as noted in each club. We are unable to accommodate younger students into clubs designated for older students, or older students into clubs designated for younger students. Thank you for your understanding.
